“Once Upon a Homecoming” was a fairytale come true for the students, faculty, staff, families and alumni of Waiakea High School.

Homecoming Week was Sept. 15-21. Everyone enjoyed the many homecoming festivities, including gym decorations, shields and mascot performances, the WHS signature event of male cheerleading and a homecoming dance.

The spirited week concluded with a parade around Warrior Drive with Warriors and future Warriors from Waiakeawaena and Waiakea Elementary schools.

The JV and varsity football games versus the Kealakehe WaveRiders followed.

Homecoming 2019 ended with, “And they lived happily ever after at Waiakea High School …”
